New Zealand's Bryan Rhodes will conduct a swim clinic on Friday, July 18, 2008 in conjunction with the Evergreen Lake Triathlon at Comlara County Park , Hudson , IL .

“Rhodsey” is a three time Ironman champion who comes from a water sports background and can always be found at the front of the pack during Ironman swims. Rhodes also competes in numerous half Ironmans and other distances and enjoys passing along his knowledge of the sport via competition and stints as a swim coach.

The swim clinic will be held at 5 pm and 6 pm at the Comlara Park beach. A $5 per participant fee will be collected at the event with all proceeds going to Rhodes . Participants should bring a swim suit, goggles and towel.

To reserve a clinic spot, please email Trimomevents@verizon.net and indicate which session (5 pm or 6 pm) you wish to attend. Clinic space is limited so early registration is advised.

Rhodsey will again toe the line at the Evergreen Lake Triathlon on Saturday, July 19. He finished third in last year's race.
