Race Morning
Plan to arrive around 6:30 A.M. This will allow you plenty of time to get
everything set up. There will be a pre-race meeting at 7:40 A.M. Final
instructions will be given at this time.
All USA Triathlon members must show membership card at check-in.

It is the responsibility of the athlete to know and follow the proper course.

This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. All USAT rules apply. For a complete
listing of rules, go to
USAT's Rule Book.

Body marking is located at the entrance to the transition area.

The transition area is for race participants only - no spectators allowed.
-
A sticker will be provided with your race number on it. Sticker must be placed
on bike seat post or helmet for security.
Individual Awards

Top 3 overall male/female finishers

Top 3 in these age groups: 10-12, 13-15, 16-17,18-19, 20-24F, 50-54, 55-59,
60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84

Top 5 in these Men’s age groups: 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49
-
Top 5 in these Women’s age groups: 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49

Top 3 Clydesdale (men 200 pounds and above) – 39 and younger

Top 3 Clydesdale – 40 and over

Top 3 Athena (women 150 pounds and above) – 39 and younger

Relay Team Awards

Awards to top 2 teams in each relay division: Male, Female, Coed (may be 2 or 3
person team)
Club Competition

Top 3 clubs in the following categories: Male, Female, Overall
The fastest swimmer, cyclist and runner (both male and female) will also
receive an award. (Does not include relay participants)
Awards Presentation/Party!
The post race food and the awards presentation will be held near the beach
area. Avanti's Gondolas, bottled water, pop, fruit, bagels, cookies, barbeque
sandwiches and sports drink will be available.
Clydesdale/Athena Information
Participants who registered as Clydesdales or Athenas will be asked to weigh in
on race day. Entrants in this division are not eligible for age group awards.
Note: you are not required to enter as a Clydesdale or Athena just because you
meet the weight requirements. (200 lbs. for men; 150 lbs. for women)
Moraine View State Park
The transition area is located at the beach area inside the park. The run
course is held entirely inside the park. Maps are enclosed of the transition
area, run course and bike course. There is also a map of surrounding area to
help you find your way to the park.
Take a right turn as you enter the park and follow the beach area signs. There is no parking in the
transition area.
Parking
Parking places are located all around the lake. The better spots will go early.
Please plan time to walk if you arrive late.
Security
A sticker will be provided with your race number on it. The sticker should be
placed around your seatpost. When the race is over, you must match your run
number with the sticker to remove your bike from the transition area.
Misc
-
Relay team members may begin the next leg after they have been passed the chip
by preceding team mate. Relays should hand off at the entrance or exit of
transition area.

The transition area will be secured until 11:30 am. When exiting the transition
area after the race, you will be asked to match your race bib number with the
number on your bike. If you must remove your bike from the transition area
before the race is over, please be mindful of those athletes still on the
course.

Lost and found will be located at the DJ table.
